Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU) is pleased to announce the promotion of Trisha Wagner to Vice President, effective April 2026. Her promotion follows a successful tenure as Regional Director, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to advancing employment and adult services throughout her regions.
In her new role, Trisha will continue to lead, coach, and develop her team while ensuring the highest quality of service for clients and communities served by WOU. Her progression to Vice President reflects years of dedication, operational excellence, and mission-driven leadership.
Trisha joined WOU in 2010 as a Career Resource Specialist and steadily advanced through the organization, serving as Team Lead, Director, Regional Director for Rhode Island and western and southeastern Massachusetts, and now Vice President. Prior to joining WOU, she worked as an art instructor at La Salle Academy in Providence.
Reflecting on her journey with the organization, Trisha shared:
“WOU was meant to be a temporary job for me. Sixteen years later, I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. The people here are some of the most amazing people you could ever have the pleasure of working with. We all share the same goal — helping others and supporting each other. Having a culture where you admire everyone you work with makes you look forward to working every day. Who could ask for a better career than this?”
Trisha earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhode Island College, along with additional Secondary Education Certification following college. She resides in Rhode Island with her daughter, Luna, where she enjoys entertaining family and friends.
