Work Opportunities Unlimited is pleased to announce the promotion of Summer Turner to Regional Director, effective April 2026. This promotion follows Summer’s successful tenure as Director, during which she demonstrated exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to advancing employment and adult services throughout her market.
In her new role, Summer will continue to lead, coach, and develop her teams while ensuring the highest quality of service for the clients, families, and communities served by WOU. Her advancement to Regional Director reflects several years of dedication, professional growth, and mission-driven leadership within the organization.
Summer joined WOU in 2019 as a Career Resource Specialist in the Springfield, Massachusetts market and was later promoted to Team Lead and Director, where she successfully expanded services throughout the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania market. She now assumes the role of Regional Director overseeing operations across Pennsylvania and the Annapolis, Maryland markets. Prior to joining WOU, Summer served as a job coach in human services after more than a decade in the hospitality industry.

Summer resides in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, with her two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys walking with them, playing golf, gardening, and working on DIY projects.
