Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU) announces the promotion of Rick Welsch to Director-in-Training for the Lakes Region Market, effective May 2026. Rick will lead, coach, and support his team in providing the highest-quality employment and adult and student services to clients throughout the region.
Rick joined Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU) in 2023 as a Career Resource Specialist (CRS), bringing extensive experience in human services from his work with Great Bay Services, The Plus Company, and Greater Nashua Mental Health. “I chose WOU because I deeply care about helping individuals achieve their employment goals. WOU’s philosophy of ‘Try Another Way’ is something I have lived by throughout my life. Working in human services, particularly employment services, is where I feel I can make the greatest impact, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue that work at WOU.”
Rick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with minors in Film Studies and English, from the University of New Hampshire. He resides in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region with his family. Outside of work, Rick enjoys all things music, including writing, playing, and singing.
