Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU) announces the promotion of Jennifer Roman to Director of the Merrimack Valley market, effective June 2026. In her new role, Jennifer will lead, coach, and support her team in providing the highest-quality employment and adult and student services to clients throughout the region.
Jennifer joined WOU in 2016 as a Career Resource Specialist in the Lowell market and advanced into the roles of Team Leader, Program Coordinator, and Director in Training before earning this promotion. Prior to joining WOU, Jen worked at a family shelter supporting families facing homelessness, preceded by several years at a nursing home. “Working at WOU aligns with my values and has provided me with the opportunity to make a positive impact on others, which is not only fulfilling but also gives me a sense of purpose and meaning.”
Jennifer earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. A resident of Southern New Hampshire, she enjoys spending quality time with family, cooking, and exploring the outdoor trails throughout the state.
