Work Opportunities Unlimited Promotes Darlene Hayden to Regional Director
Promotion driven by organization’s expansion and growth in Massachusetts markets
DOVER, NH. June 29, 2018—Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU), a community-based employment service provider specializing in placing job seekers who experience barriers to employment, is pleased to announce that, as a result of the organization’s continued growth within western and central Massachusetts, Darlene Hayden has been promoted to regional director of its Greenfield, Worcester, North Central, and Springfield, Mass. markets.
The increasing need for the organization’s services led to the split of its Worcester office into two markets, North Central and Worcester, in July 2017 and expansion of services into Springfield, Mass. earlier this year. Further expansion to the Greenfield area will commence in July of 2018. As regional director, Ms. Hayden will oversee all aspects of both Worcester markets and the newly-created Greenfield and Springfield markets. In her former role as director of WOU’s Worcester market, Ms. Hayden oversaw the implementation of services with Department of Developmental Services, Department of Children and Families, Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, and Department of Youth Services.

Scott Niemczura
Scott Niemczura, former director of WOU’s Concord, NH office, has transferred to the new Springfield, Mass. office, where he will promote the organization’s efforts by building its client base and presence in the area, as well as oversee the office’s growing team.
Ryan Mountain, vice president of career services at WOU, comments, “Darlene has done a tremendous job establishing WOU as a highly regarded service provider in the greater Worcester and Fitchburg/Leominster areas. Due to our solid reputation and Darlene’s networking efforts, she was able to spark interest in our services in Springfield and Greenfield. The transfer of Scott to Springfield facilitated the initiation of services in that area and we anticipate steady growth in Springfield and Greenfield in 2018/2019. We are excited that our services will now be available to many more MA residents who are in need of job placement and training support.”
Ms. Hayden joined Work Opportunities Unlimited in April 2010. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and psychology from Fitchburg State College, currently serves on the steering committee for the Central Massachusetts Employment Collaborative, and is a member of the Shrewsbury High School Interagency Team.
