Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU) announces the promotion of Corinne Dyer to Director-in-Training for the Blackstone Valley market, effective July 2026. Corinne will lead, coach, and support her team in providing the highest-quality employment and adult and student services to clients throughout the region.
Corinne joined Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU) in 2021 as a Career Resource Specialist (CRS) and was promoted to Team Leader, then Program Coordinator. Corinne brings extensive experience as an educator teaching students from toddlers through high school. “I chose to work at WOU because it offered the best of both worlds—I could continue using my teaching skills to make a difference while challenging myself to learn new skills and support a new population. I value the opportunity to work in the community, meet new people, and build relationships with local businesses. Corinne earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish Language & Literature, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Rhode Island. She resides in Providence County with her husband and mother. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy exploring eclectic coastal towns throughout New England.
