DOVER, N.H., September 21, 2020—Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU), a community-based employment service provider specializing in placing job seekers who experience barriers to employment, is pleased to announce the promotion of Marcia Welsh to Chief Financial Officer for WOU and its staffing division, Leddy Group.
As chief financial officer, Welsh will oversee all financial, accounting, and insurance aspects of the organization while working with the rest of the leadership team to guide the future direction of the company. Formerly a staff accountant at a local CPA firm, Welsh joined WOU’s accounting team in 2015 as Assistant Controller and was promoted to Vice President and Controller in 2018.

Welsh attended Southern New Hampshire University and earned her bachelor’s degree in business studies with concentrations in accounting and business finance. She and her husband reside in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
