DOVER, N.H., September 14, 2020—Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU), a community-based employment service provider specializing in placing job seekers who experience barriers to employment, recently promoted Lorraine Beucler from lead accountant to assistant controller for WOU and its staffing division, Leddy Group.
As assistant controller, Beucler will support Vice President and Controller Marcia Welsh in directing the organizations’ financial planning and accounting practices and directly supervise the accounting team. Prior to joining WOU in October of 2019, Beucler spent nearly 10 years in various accounting roles in the commercial real estate industry, most recently as assistant controller for the Kane Company in Portsmouth, N.H.“I am excited to work with such a professional, caring team of people,” Beucler commented. “Work Opportunities does great work for the people in our community, and I am happy to be part of it.”

Beucler earned her MBA with a concentration in finance from Bentley University and her bachelor’s in accounting information systems from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. Originally from Minot, Maine, she and her family reside in Sandown, N.H.
