Work Opportunities Unlimited Promotes Ryan Mountain to Senior Vice President
DOVER, N.H., December 9, 2019—Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU), a community-based employment service provider specializing in placing job seekers who experience barriers to employment, recently recognized Ryan Mountain’s continued dedication to the organization by promoting him to senior vice president, effective November 1, 2019.
Since joining the organization nearly 25 years ago, Mountain has been a steadfast contributor to WOU’s growth. Of note, he was instrumental in developing services with school districts and expanded WOU’s reach into several new states, including Florida, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. He was also deeply involved in establishing an internal quality measurement tool that improved WOU’s ability to serve job seekers, referral sources, and employers. Additionally, Mountain contributed to WOU becoming involved in the Ticket to Work program, an initiative funded by the Social Security Administration that is designed to help beneficiaries return to work and become self-sufficient.
Mary Leddy, WOU’s COO and staffing division leader, said, “Ryan tirelessly supports our mission by transforming his deep understanding of how to best serve our clients into systems and processes that result in greater efficiency and stronger outcomes. He is an incredible asset to our organization, and we are proud of him and all of his accomplishments.”
“It is an honor and a privilege to not only accept this promotion, but to work on a daily basis with such a fantastic group of people,” commented Mountain. “I can’t say enough about the dedicated team at WOU who collaborate tirelessly to help those with barriers to reach their employment goals. I am continually inspired to do my part to achieve the mission of creating new opportunities for success in the workplace every day.
