Mary Leddy presents Tim Provencal with the Mission Support plaque

(Dover, NH) – Tim Provencal of Dover, New Hampshire, was recently presented with the Mission Support Award at Work Opportunities Unlimited in Dover, NH. Each year, the company honors an employee who supports its mission to create new opportunities for success in the workplace, every day.

Work Opportunities Unlimited is a community-based, employment service provider specializing in placing people with disabilities, and job seekers who experience barriers to employment, in competitive, integrated work environments.

The award highlights Provencal’s critical role in providing Information Technology (IT) support. “The success of our company is driven by the strength of our team and its ability to communicate effectively,” says Mary Leddy, Chief Operating Officer. “We use technology extensively, so Tim’s IT role is far reaching. His work is critical to assisting the team members both in staffing offices and in the community at Work Opportunities Unlimited, to have the tools and equipment to do their jobs. Ultimately, Tim’s expertise impacts the lives of the individuals we serve.”

The mission support Award is particularly meaningful because the recipients are chosen by their peers for consistently going above and beyond to assist their co-workers. “Tim received the most nominations, all of which cited his positive, professional, and optimistic “at the ready” attitude; not to mention his patience and knowledge base that supports all that we do,” says Leddy.

“Every day at Work Opportunities I see people solving problems through teamwork, cooperation, and creativity,” says Provencal. “I am inspired and motivated by my colleagues who serve our clients every day in the workplace, and never give up on them.  I’ve always loved the challenges of finding ways to use technology to streamline tasks.  Everything we do to improve our use of technology improves the attention and services that we offer our clients. Each office at Work Opportunities has a framed reminder from the great educator, Marc Gold, to “Try Another Way”.  Like all team members, the IT team is proud to support our mission and we are always ready to try another way!”

“We are honored to present this award to Tim,” says Leddy. “He takes pride in his work and is being recognized for fulfilling a role that has proven to be critical to ensuring the highest quality of services are delivered to all customers. His hard work, passion, and ongoing dedication are acknowledged and appreciated by all.”
