Lori Turenchalk We are pleased and excited to announce the acceptance of Lori Turenchalk from the South Shore Team to the Director-in-Training program.  Lori started with WOU and the South Shore team on November 6, 2013.  Since that time she has served individuals referred from the Department of Children and Families, the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, the Department of Developmental Disabilities, and area school districts.  Recently in 2016, Lori completed the Team Leader Training and then embarked on the Director-in-Training application process.  Lori’s efforts have resulted in numerous clients securing and retaining employment, with recognition by clients and referral sources that Lori provides service of the highest quality.  As one social worker put it:  “I was out to see Jane and her mother this week as DCF is in the process of closing out services with them.  I just wanted to share that they could not say enough about how much they enjoyed working with Lori. They both spoke about how nice of a person she is and are very thankful for all the support and guidance Lori provided to them.”  Lori’s dedication and professionalism are unquestioned, and it is with great pleasure that she was accepted into the DIT program on February 12, 2016 with training to commence on March 30th.  The

Director-in-Training program lasts up to a year and includes training in such topics as:
