Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU)’s Mission Support Award was established to recognize a team member who doesn’t work on the front lines; rather, this individual supports other members of the organization in their work serving our stakeholders. The winner is selected from the nominations made by team members. We are pleased to announce that this year’s winner is Amanda Ouellette from the IT Team!

Through her commitment to WOU’s principles, Amanda has played a key role in ensuring the highest quality of services are delivered to all customers. She designs, creates, and manages workflow solutions that are critical to both Staffing and Career Services. For instance, she led the complex process of resolving technical issues with online job postings, leading to correct posting dates and increased application rates.  Amanda also builds and maintains the “forms and flows” that support Career Services with site assessments, corporate partnerships, cultural event planning, and more.  As a principal contributor to the company intranet, Amanda edits and posts videos, designs the monthly quizzes, and posts WOU throwback pictures for everyone’s enjoyment. These efforts are in addition to the many internal workflow and auditing processes that she manages for the IT team. Amanda brings joy to the workplace each day, delights in the successes of our team members and their clients, and brings out the very best in everyone. Her hard work, passion, and ongoing dedication are acknowledged and appreciated by all. Congratulations, Amanda!
