
Work Opportunities Unlimited in Pennsylvania
In 2021, Work Opportunities Unlimited began providing Pre-Employment Transition Services to students with a wide range of disabilities referred from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation in partnership with school districts. Services are provided in-person and remotely, with all in-person services being provided in the greater Harrisburg community. Services currently being offered include:
- Workplace Readiness Training
- Job Exploration Counseling
- Self-Advocacy Skill Training
- Independent Living Skill Training
- Group Travel Training
- Job Shadowing
- Paid Work Experiences
- Assistance Securing a State ID
In 2022, Work Opportunities Unlimited began providing services for Supported Employment clients referred from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP). Services are provided in-person and remotely, with all in-person services currently being provided in the greater Harrisburg community. Services currently being offered under Supported Employment include:
- Community Based Work Assessment
- Non-Performance Based Supported Employment (NPBSE) – Job Mentoring, Job Retention, Intermittent Supported Employment
- Performance Based Job Coaching (PBSE) – Job Development, Job Placement, Job Maintenance, Job Stabilization and Case Closure
- Extended Services
Work Opportunities Unlimited is an approved provider with Office of Developmental Programs(ODP) and provides Supported Employment and Community Participation Supports for clients referred through ODP.
