Rebecca Mayer – Regional Director
As Regional Director of WOU’s North Shore market, Rebecca oversees the operations of the North Shore office and delivery of employment services to individuals referred from DDS, MRC, DCF, and area schools.
After a three-year career as a teacher at The New England Center for Children, a nonprofit center dedicated to autism treatment, education, and research, Rebecca joined WOU in August of 2016 as a Career Resource Specialist on the Braintree team. She was promoted to Team Leader in August of 2017 and transitioned into the Director-in-Training program in August of 2018. She successfully completed the program and was placed in her current role in January of 2019.
Rebecca graduated from Nichols College with a bachelor’s in psychology and received her master’s in special education with a concentration in severe special needs from Simmons College. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
