Jennifer Roman – Director, Merrimack Valley
Jennifer serves as Director of Work Opportunities Unlimited’s Merrimack Valley Market, where she is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality employment services to clients, supporting and developing her team, and fostering strong relationships with referral agencies and local employers.
Jennifer joined WOU in 2016 as a Career Resource Specialist in the Lowell market and advanced into the roles of Team Leader, Program Coordinator, and Director in Training and ultimately to Director in 2026. Prior to joining WOU, Jen worked at a family shelter supporting families facing homelessness, preceded by several years at a nursing home.
Jennifer earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. A resident of Southern New Hampshire, she enjoys spending quality time with family, cooking, and exploring the outdoor trails throughout the state.
