What your day might look like as an Employment Specialist:

· Writing vocational evaluations with students and adults supporting them onsite and providing transportation to and from the site.

· Working with students in a school setting to discuss their options after high school.

· Providing one-on-one support to clients with barriers to employment which may include on-site job support and individualized job coaching at community locations.

· Working with clients to develop career goals and objectives, assisting clients in finding and maintaining meaningful employment or community activities.

· Performing business development activities to identify appropriate job matches.

· Coordinating and providing client transportation throughout the community, focusing on client independence.
