Work Opportunities Unlimited (WOU), a privately owned company with over 300 employees along the East Coast, has helped people with barriers to employment find meaningful work since 1982. We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, (hybrid – based in our West Palm Beach, FL office) to help support growth in our Florida markets.

 Overview:

This role is responsible for sourcing, assessing, and hiring talent for our marketplace positions throughout FL. This TA Recruiter will develop and implement recruitment strategies that strengthen WOU’s ability to attract talent into the organization while meeting the business’s staffing needs.


A day in the life:

  • Manage full, life-cycle recruitment for primarily non-exempt positions
  • Identify and build relationships with external resources to ensure an ongoing talent pipeline
  • Interview, assess, and recommend candidates based on job competencies and cultural fit within the organization
  • Partner with hiring managers to discuss candidate feedback and execute the final hiring decision
  • Explore new recruiting sources, job boards, and forums to grow the pipeline
  • Conduct in-depth phone and onsite interviews and promote the WOU brand
  • Participate in new associate orientation and onboarding program
  • Serve as the WOU Brand Ambassador within the marketplace


What you bring to the table:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in full cycle recruitment with a proven track record of driving recruitment using effective recruitment strategies, use of online and social resources, as well as networking and competitor sourcing
  • Knowledge of current and future trends regarding sourcing and recruiting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills including, Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, and ATS/Recruitment platforms (Bullhorn is preferred but not required)
  • Ability to prioritize and meet appropriate deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an emphasis on high-touch customer service
  • A commitment to creating a superior candidate experience
  • Demonstrated ability to maximize creative sourcing methods
  • Knowledge, passion, and an affinity for driving business through finding top talent
  • Ability to perform independently
