Regional Director Team

Mike serves as Regional Director of WOU's Blackstone Valley, Framingham, Worcester, Massachusetts, and Bristol/Plymouth markets. He oversees the delivery of high-quality vocational services across these regions, leading teams that support individuals through a diverse network of referral partners, including BHDDH, ORS, DDS, MassAbility, MCB, DCF, and local school districts. 

Mike joined Work Opportunities Unlimited in 2014 and was promoted to his current leadership role in 2026 after serving as Director of the Blackstone Valley market. 

Prior to WOU, Mike spent seven years in secondary education, teaching social studies, special education, English language learner (ELL), and transition education throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education from Worcester State University. 

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, being outdoors, and exploring nature. 

Lisa is Regional Director of WOU’s Florida markets. She manages the team’s direction in providing the organization’s services to the local market, as well as cultivates and manages relationships with clients, area businesses, employers, and others to help connect the community with WOU’s services.

Prior to joining WOU, Lisa had an extensive career with the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida as a Medical Case Manager/Prevention and Education Coordinator. After joining WOU in April 2014 as a Career Resource Specialist in the organization’s Palm Beach County office, Lisa became a Team Leader in 2015 and was promoted into her current position as Director in May of 2019. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s in Psychology and has been awarded internally for her participation in WOU’s Discovery Services program, requiring team members to surpass additional standards in helping clients find community-based employment.

Outside of work, Lisa volunteers back to the community in which she was raised and is deeply involved with her children’s activities. She serves on the board of her son’s high school baseball team and until recently was the president of her daughter’s softball team. In addition, she has been involved with the Junior League of the Palm Beaches since 1999.

Bill is the Regional Director responsible for the services being provided by the South Shore  and Suffolk County teams. He is tasked with developing and achieving strategic planning goals and expectations through each fiscal year, supporting the team members with training and on-the-job support, and directing services for local school districts, Vocational Rehabilitation, Supported Employment, and Department of Children and Families.

Prior to joining WOU, Bill spent nearly a decade as Shift Supervisor at a regional grocery store where he had the opportunity to work with individuals with different backgrounds and abilities, which led to his desire to work in the human services field. He joined WOU in 2009 as a Career Resource Specialist and was quickly promoted to Team Lead, and again promoted in 2011 to South Shore Director. With the growing demand of WOU’s services in the area, the South Shore divided into two teams, Braintree and Taunton, at which time Bill was promoted into his current position.

Bill received a Bachelor of Science in communication studies from Bridgewater State Unviersity and attended Connecticut School of Broadcasting. He is an avid Boston sports fan, and at one point worked in video production for live professional wrestling events.

As Regional Director, Rebecca oversees the operations of the North Shore, Auburn, Portland, York and Merrimack Valley markets.  She is responsible for ensuring all markets are meeting their goals by training CRSs, leading state audits, and cultivating an environment where consumers, business, counselors, and team members are 100% satisfied with the services provided.

After a three-year career as a teacher at The New England Center for Children, a nonprofit center dedicated to autism treatment, education, and research, Rebecca joined WOU in August of 2016 as a Career Resource Specialist on the Braintree team. She was promoted to Team Leader in August of 2017 and transitioned into the Director-in-Training program in August of 2018. She successfully completed the program and was placed in her current role in January of 2019.

Rebecca graduated from Nichols College with a bachelor’s in psychology and received her master’s in special education with a concentration in severe special needs from Simmons College. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.

Summer is Regional Director for WOU’s Harrisburg, PA, Lancaster, PA and Annapolis, MD markets, responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality employment services to clients, training and supporting the team, and maintaining relationships with referral agencies and area employers. Summer joined WOU as a Career Resource Specialist in 2019 for the Springfield, MA, market, was promoted to Team Leader, then was transferred to Harrisburg, PA, in 2021 to help expand WOU’s services to the region.   

Before joining WOU, Summer spent two years as a job coach, following several years in hospitality management.   

Summer resides outside of Harrisburg with her dog, Sadie May. In her spare time, if she’s not working on DIY projects, including construction, she loves spending time outdoors, hiking, and playing golf.
